INSATIABLE WE ARE BUT GRATEFUL WE MUST BE

Humans are really insatiable. No situation is ever good enough, we always want more. The popular saying, 'you don't know what you've got until it is gone' still holds an ocean of water. I haven't lost anything so stop thinking...not even my virginity (that's a story for another day).

My job is pretty demanding; no break, no rest, under pressure most times, no time to think of self. I crave a job change, a career breakthrough, a bank breaking salary with lots of benefits. I crave more, so much more, I crave the best of the best. I am human, I am insatiable, I will always want more. It is normal.

Something strange happened to me during this short break, I missed work. (I missed work? OMG! I still cannot believe it!) I missed using my intellect to deal with colleagues and clients. I missed my workspace. I missed solving problems. Wow! A strange one for me!

However, I realized somethin from this, though we strive for more, we have to appreciate where we are and our little (or big) steps of progress. I took a moment to appreciate this demanding and tiring job of mine and it was refreshing. I needed a moment away from the job (as if it was gone) to be able to appreciate it more.

I will share some of the things I have learnt so far on my job. Not to make this post too long for impatient readers, I will continue in the next post. Take care fellas.

Not because it is picture perfect

Not all pictures are posted because they are exceptionally beautiful. Some are posted because of the memories they bring; the love they make you feel; the joy that envelops you when you look at them.

Sometimes I use my social media platforms as archives for good memories. My phone may get faulty or missing and I would lost most or all of my pictures. However, social media is reliable (well, unless the site crashes...we pray none does).

This picture is one of them. Not fancy, no make up or dress up...just me, my #beautifuldaughter and hubby sleeping peacefully behind us...posted just because it is filled with so much love. #goodmemories
